Overview
We are working with a growing, values-driven children’s care provider seeking experienced Registered Managers to lead residential homes across the West Midlands, with opportunities available in Wolverhampton and Sutton Coldfield. This organisation is committed to delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed care across a range of settings including EBD, SEMH, and LD homes. The Opportunity

You’ll take full responsibility for your home, leading your team to deliver outstanding care while driving the service towards Good and Outstanding Ofsted outcomes. You’ll be supported by a strong senior leadership team and a provider that invests heavily in training, development, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the home.
- Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership to your staff team.
- Create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Drive the home towards Good and Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- Oversee safeguarding practices and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Manage care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
- Monitor performance and implement continuous improvement plans.
About You
- Experience within children’s residential care at management level.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Resilient, compassionate, and values‑driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
