Project Manager (Data AI/ Cloud Solutions)

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience managing enterprise Data, AI, and Cloud transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial exposure in delivering customer-facing technology initiatives across cloud platforms, AI/ML solutions, data analytics, and digital transformation programs.

Client background As a leading Google Cloud partner in Asia, we work with customers across industries to modernize platforms, build AI-powered applications, and drive Generative AI adoption at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data, AI, Cloud, and Digital Transformation projects across multiple industries.
• Manage project planning, scope, timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and delivery governance.
• Coordinate with cloud engineers, data engineers, AI/ML specialists, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive customer engagement activities including requirement gathering, project updates, workshops, and executive-level presentations.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives, commercial expectations, and service quality standards.
• Support pre-sales and solution teams during project estimation, proposal preparation, and implementation planning.
• Work closely with commercial and account management teams to manage client expectations, contract deliverables, and project profitability.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure project documentation is properly maintained.
• Manage multi-vendor or regional project coordination when required.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cloud operational best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management within IT, Cloud, Data, or AI-related projects.
• Strong experience managing enterprise digital transformation or cloud implementation projects.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Cloud Migration, or Generative AI projects is preferred.
• Experience working with commercial clients and managing customer-facing engagements.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications would be an advantage.
• Experience in regional or APAC project delivery is preferred.
