Specification Sales Consultant – Midlands & South West
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Specification Sales Consultant to cover the Midlands & South West region. This is a field-based role focused on developing specifications, managing key relationships and driving project activity across the construction market.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with Architects, Specifiers, Designers and Fit‑Out Contractors
- Generate and manage a pipeline of specification projects across ironmongery, architectural hardware, access control and automatic door solutions
- Secure product specifications on projects and support them through to order conversion
- Maintain and grow existing key accounts while identifying new business opportunities
- Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities
Experience Required
- Proven track record within specification sales in construction or building materials
- Strong network with Architects, Designers and relevant decision‑makers
- Technical understanding of architectural hardware, ironmongery or associated product ranges
- Ability to manage projects from specification through to completion
Desirable
- GAI qualification (DipGAI or equivalent)
- Experience with access control, door hardware or automatic door systems
