Overview

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse with excellent communication skills to work as part of the Wimborne Hospital Outpatient nursing team.

Wimborne Hospital Outpatient Department hosts a variety of specialist clinics, including cardiology, general surgery, and orthopaedics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of nursing care driven by patient experience and evidence based best practice.
• Demonstrate good leadership qualities.
• Dealing with both staff and patient issues, demonstrating enthusiasm and motivation, excellent team working skills, and forward thinking.
• Act up in the absence of senior staff.
• Work as a member of the Outpatient Team as a competent practitioner.
• Facilitate a high standard, efficient and friendly service for patients attending clinics in the outpatient department.
• Work across the outpatient services at various sites if required with the base outpatients at Wimborne Hospital.
• Meet service objectives and work within the operational policy.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in the NHS is essential.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
• Applicants requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship are not eligible to apply for this position.
