About the Role
The postholder will provide research support for the Health Data Sciences Group led by Prof. Prieto‑Alhambra and coordinate various research projects. The postholder will be an essential part of the team, working on exciting projects which will offer room for contributing to their development. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, an eye for detail, and a commitment to improving health in the UK and abroad.
The postholder will independently manage day‑to‑day administrative processes, using initiative to resolve issues and adapt to changing priorities. They will produce correspondence, documents, and reports to tight deadlines, preparing and presenting information concisely. They will also act as a point of referral for organising tasks, ensuring senior team members are up‑to‑date with information and developments.
About You
You must hold a degree or have equivalent experience. Experience managing projects, including the use of project management tools, and conducting research support tasks efficiently (such as publication support, manuscript submission), is essential. Experience working in an academic environment, with an understanding of university processes, and experience working on health‑related projects are desirable.
