What you’ll be doing as a Senior Project Engineer
- Lead design engineering for Water Network Projects in line with project delivery procedures
- Take a lead role in planning and delivering design activities
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet time and cost targets
- Act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer responsibilities
- Apply strong risk management skills – identifying, mitigating, and controlling risks, and adding value during outline design
- Provide technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning, and handover of assets
- Manage multiple projects and oversee work delivered by external consultants
This is a hybrid role based in Maple Lodge, with 2–3 days a week on site within London and the Thames Valley – 36 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
What you should bring to the role
- Degree‑level education (or equivalent) in Civil or Mechanical engineering discipline, plus professional chartership
- Strong experience in water network design and technical assurance
- A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders
- Experience managing project teams and taking accountability for delivery
- Confidence using company IT systems and Office software

- Competitive salary from £55,000 to £68,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
