About the Role
As a Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Barchester, you’ll travel across the Essex Region to deliver high clinical standards. You’ll lead a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure that on each shift, at every location, all residents receive the highest quality care. Your responsibilities will include helping new residents settle in, advancing team members’ skills, and developing tailored care plans that address physical and mental needs.
About You
To join us, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. You should possess strong, up‑to‑date clinical knowledge, a sound understanding of key regulatory frameworks—including safe medication administration, Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines, and NMC standards—and a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated, ambitious, and a good communicator, you will lead by example and motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
