Job Description Overview
Join us as a Highways Engineer in our Transportation team and help drive the digital transformation of the highways sector. You will contribute to nationally significant highway and infrastructure projects across the UK, including the M42 West Coast Main Line and M25 junction10, as well as local authority schemes.
Your role
- Responsible for the technical delivery of highway infrastructure projects
- Use highway design, drainage and other software packages to deliver technically robust designs
- Mentor and coach team members and take responsibility for their technical development
- Assist Project Managers on technical aspects of designs from project initiation to completion
- Delegate work to team members, program deliverables and monitor progress
- Support business win activities, including representing the company at networking events and preparing tenders

Additional information
This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require proof of UK residency of 5 years or longer.
