Maintenance Engineer

A massive opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global company based in Kidderminster. The company has an annual turnover of £3.5 billion and is the world market leader in its sector, operating over 200 plants worldwide in more than 30 countries, including 16 in the UK. The role works a 4 on / 4 off continental shift at one of the company’s biggest UK sites. It provides training and mentorship to help you become a fully‑fledged maintenance electrician.

Location: Kidderminster (commutable from Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Dudley, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas).

This is a huge opportunity for a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Duties

• Work a 4 on / 4 off continental shift
• Install and maintain plant machinery
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system
• Fault‑find and repair electrical or electromechanical problems
• Ensure plant and machinery are kept clean and in working order
• Program Siemens and other PLC equipment
• Assist with installation of new plant equipment

Requirements

• Electrical training or hold an electrical qualification
• Knowledge of the 18th edition (advantageous)
• Manufacturing or facilities background
• PLC knowledge (advantageous)
• Hard‑working, willing to learn and flexible
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
