Job Description

We are looking for an independent, analytical, hands‑on Senior Process Architect to lead process improvement and efficiency across the People team. The role involves redesigning complex HR problems into simple, automated, scalable solutions that reduce manual intervention and improve operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead high‑impact initiatives to shape global HR operations by eliminating administrative overhead.
  • Analyze processes, identify bottlenecks and design scalable, AI‑driven automation that can handle 10,000+ employees.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, process flowcharts and SOPs that serve as a single source of truth for global teams.
  • Bridge technical complexity and business reality, presenting clear, high‑impact recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Plan system connectivity between HR tools (e.g., Workday, Slack, Jira, ATS) to enable seamless data exchange.
  • Implement AI‑driven solutions that streamline workflows, improve output accuracy and reduce resolution times.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Process Excellence, Business Transformation, HR Transformation or Operations.
  • Strong understanding of HR or corporate services processes and functions.
  • Experience executing and maintaining multiple projects in deadline‑driven, ambiguous environments.
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or FigJam and lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black or Green Belt preferred).
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
  • Deep knowledge of AI and automation tools to streamline process efficiency.
  • Self‑motivated “doer” mentality, comfortable working through detailed problems.

Working Environment

Checkout.com offers a hybrid model with three days per week in the office, supporting collaboration and connection while allowing flexible remote work.
