Leveraging your expertise as part of our Envision Medical Communications team, you will create impactful, high-quality scientific content in a supportive and innovative team environment.
This is a Medical Writer opportunity on a global publications account, supporting a leading pharmaceutical client. You’ll be responsible for developing high-quality publications with opportunities for some non-publication projects as well. We welcome applications from candidates in the UK, Serbia, Hungary or Portugal, and support both remote working or flexible hybrid opportunities.
Role Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, client and competitor products, and industry regulations.
- Create high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliant content to meet client briefs across a variety of project types.
- Participate in client meetings and onsite programs, assisting in preparation of materials as needed.
- Effectively manage and prioritize workload, following processes aligned with internal and client SOPs, and deliver on agreed timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to scientific content for new business opportunities/proposals, and when appropriate, participate in pitch presentations.
- Review and data-check work against source materials.
- Contribute to project tracking and reporting using relevant tools (e.g. DataVision, Zinc, Clear) as appropriate.
Skills & Expertise
- An advanced degree in a life sciences or clinical discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in a medcomms agency setting, working on a range of medical affairs and publications deliverables.
- Ability to effectively interpret, evaluate and communicate complex scientific data in a variety of styles and formats.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and external experts.
- Expertise in use of online and other data sources for literature reviews and information retrieval.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and experience with graphing/referencing software (e.g. EndNote and GraphPad Prism).
