The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial operations and providing accurate analysis to aid decision-making in the energy and natural resources industry. Description

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key metrics.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost‑saving and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an entry-level finance and accounting role.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within transactional finance.
  • An eye for commercial finance, ability to identify potential trends and opportunities.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • A demonstrable interest in using AI and other reporting tools to innovate processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
