Payroll Manager – Leeds (3 month FTC)

£200 – £230 per day

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking for your next exciting challenge with a continually expanding nationwide company where you can play a key part within a successful and passionate team?

This company specialises in the waste & recycling industry on a nationwide basis. We are looking for a Payroll Manager to join the team on a 3 month FTC.

This is an ideal role for someone from a Payroll background looking for a new challenge with a company that will invest in your training, development & long‑term progression. You will need to have strong experience with SAGE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end‑to‑end payroll processes for employees across the business
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and timely processing
  • Managing payroll queries and liaising with HR & Finance teams
  • Supporting payroll reporting and maintaining employee records
  • Assisting with continuous improvements to payroll systems and processes
  • Working with SAGE
  • Need to be able to start immediately

Qualifications & Experience

  • Highly organised and self‑motivated & passionate about providing an excellent payroll service
  • Strong experience with SAGE
  • Experience within a similar Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll position
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, legislation and compliance
  • Good communication skills & a positive, proactive, problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Happy being full‑time office based
  • Need to be available to start immediately
