Electrical Engineer – Maidstone – £52,000–£66,000 plus excellent benefits
Join a large Energy from Waste plant delivering critical electrical projects and high voltage maintenance. This is a key role offering long‑term stability and involvement in plant upgrades and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Managing electrical projects from concept through to installation, commissioning, and handover at the Maidstone facility
- Maintaining high voltage systems, including transformers and switchgear, ensuring reliability and compliance
- Ensuring statutory inspections and testing are completed in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Supporting maintenance strategies through CMMS systems and planned preventative maintenance activities
- Assisting with plant upgrades, outages, and continuous improvement across the Maidstone site
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer within Energy from Waste, Power, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, transformers, and switchgear within a Maidstone or similar industrial setting
- Experience managing engineering projects from concept to completionUnderstanding of maintenance strategies, fault finding, and root cause analysis
- Relevant engineering qualification (degree ) with strong practical experience
Salary / Hours / Benefits
- £52,00 – £66,000 depending on experience
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
