What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developinnovativesolutionsfornewproducts orprocessesandcontribute to strategicroadmapsfocused on factorycapacityandinvestmentsthroughinfrastructureimprovementandexpansionproposals,andplanningtheintegrationofnewproducts,technologiesand equipmentthatcreateaccompetitive advantage.
  • Supportthedevelopmentofnewprojects,technologies orbusinessopportunities.
  • AnalysmanufacturingsystemperformancetoevaluateandoidentifyopportunitiesforimprovementthroughIndustrialEngineeringtools,technicheandmethods.
  • Analysanddeterminetequipment,facilitiesandsupportrequirementsfornewproducts,equipment orprocesses.
  • ProvidedetailedfactoryandlinelayoutsusingAutoCADandsupporttheplanningcostingandimplementationofnewor changedarea.
  • Optimiseassemblylinesusingworkflowanalysis,timemotionstudy,ergonomicsandhumanfactorsanalysis.
  • Provide detailed technical reports,presentations andinformation to support projects.
  • Provideanalysisofcurrentorfuturerequirementsusingsimulationtools,valuelstreammapping,dataanalysis,PFMEA,LeanManufacturingandSixSigmaprinciples.
  • Collaboratewithengineering and designgroups to ensure producibility of productandeffective transitiontomanufacture.
  • Labourestimating4electronic,cableor mechanicalassemblies.
  • Contributeto factory safetyand workcellergonomics.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Degreein an engineering science suchasIndustrialengineering,Electronics,Mechanical,ManufacturingSystemsEngineering,or equivalent relevant experience.
  • PCliteratemainlyMicrosoftOfficeincludingWord,Excel,PowerPoint&MS Project.
  • ProficientintheuseofAutoCADand/or simulation modelling tools.
  • Abilityto workwithmathematicalconceptsandstatisticalanalysis,SPC,modelling,queuing theory,SixSigma,LeanManufacturing, etc.
  • Abilitytoreprenshey Rtationallalllevelsforinternalandexternalcustomers.
  • Strongunderstandingof the key costdriversin the set‑up,development or supportofprojects,productsandthemanufacturingprocess.

Desirable:

  • Significant Industrial Engineeringexperienceand extensiveknowledgeofIndustrial Engineeringtools,techniquesand methods.
  • Experienceofd developingnew process,areas or expansionincludingplanning, costand implementation.
  • Abilitytocreatedetailed informationquicklyand present effectively at customer or variousmanagement levels.
  • KnowledgeofSMT,units and boxbuild plus site facilitation,supply chain requirements and material handling.
  • Pritsaller mentororleadotherengineers or projects with extensiveIndustrialengineeringknowledge.
  • Knowledgeofsimulationtools such as Witness or similar.

Work Culture

37-hour working week,although hoursvarie dependingon role,jobrequirement or site‑specific arrangements.
