Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, respectful care to patients, including clear information about treatment and participation in epidemiological surveys.
- Screen client groups as required.
- Conduct domiciliary visits.
- Refer patients to other dental professionals where appropriate.
- Support senior colleagues in treating patients under general anaesthetic.

Role overview

The Special Care Dental Service is part of a county‑wide service providing NHS dental treatment to patients on referral from general dental practitioners, GPs, and other health and social care professionals. Clinics operate Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30 with flexible working until 19:00 where possible.
