No previous experience is needed-just a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved! What’s This All About? In this placement, you’ll join our River Protection team, working alongside scientists, analysts, project teams, and the Key Lead for our PIRP (Pollution Incident Reduction Plan) programme to help protect the environment. You’ll support a live programme by helping map out who does what (using a simple tool called a RACI), capturing team tasks and timelines, and setting up a clear and organised SharePoint space to store important information. You’ll also help create a short guide to make it easier for others to use. As part of this, you’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders across the business, supporting an improvement process aimed at making the programme run more smoothly and effectively. This is a great opportunity to build your organisation, communication, and problem‑solving skills while getting hands‑on experience of how projects are managed in a real workplace.
