Sales and Business Development Account Manager (Senior Role)

We are a fast-growing medical grade skincare brand, established and operating in a highly competitive market. As our turnover and visibility increase, we are vastly increasing our market position and our customer base.

We are now looking for an experienced Sales + Business Development Manager to take ownership of driving new revenue, protecting existing accounts, and strengthening long-term commercial relationships.This is a trusted, influential role working closely with the Sales director and targeting and monitoring a small team.

The Role

This role goes beyond traditional sales. As Business Development Manager for the Clinic channels, you’ll be responsible for driving commercial success across Leeds, UK and Ireland. Expanding our clinic footprint, delivering revenue growth, and elevating brand presence through strategic partnerships, education, and retail excellence.

This is a high-impact role for a commercially astute professional who thrives on hitting targets and building lasting relationships in the professional medical grade skincare space.

Commercial & Business Development:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, profitability goals, and KPIs.
  • Lead monthly business reviews with accounts, using performance analytics to drive improvements.
  • Managing and safeguarding existing key accounts
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for clients
  • Ensuring customers remain loyal, supported, and commercially engaged.
  • Manage a small team monitoring targets, visits, growth, sales and quarterly campaigns eg: office Q1 campaign 
  • Present compelling commercial proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing salon accounts, focusing on understanding their business goals, challenges, and growth potential.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and provide coaching to elevate performance.
  • Represent the brand at networking days, regional events, and clinic activations.
  • Manage the extensive customer data base

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sustainable sales growth through new and existing accounts
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Actively protect accounts from competitor targeting
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers

  • Performance & Reporting:
  • Track KPIs including revenue, new account acquisition, average order value, and retention.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility.
  • Provide weekly updates and strategic insights to leadership.

About You

  • Proven experience in business development and/or account management
  • Commercially astute and confident in negotiations
  • Experienced in relationship-led sales, not just lead chasing
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership
  • Calm, credible, and professional with senior clients
  • Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in, business development, or regional management. Experience in the spa, hair, beauty, or wellness sector would be desirable.
  • Proven success in winning and launching new business partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and field-based work.
  • Confident communicator and relationship builder with a passion for premium beauty and styling.
  • Proficient in using Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint etc.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and performance reporting.
