Job Description:

We are supporting a PE-backed, high-growth data intelligence business undergoing a period of change, seeking an experienced FP&A / Commercial Finance Analyst to join on an urgent 3-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, this role will focus on forecasting, revenue analysis and performance insight, supporting senior stakeholders with clear, commercially focused analysis.

The role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days per week in the Central London office, and will suit a confident, approachable and adaptable individual who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business partnering skills, a high level of attention to detail and a deadline-oriented mindset. An immediate start is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly forecasting process, ensuring alignment to latest trading performance and business assumptions
  • Deliver short-term forecasts and scenario-based analysis to support decision making
  • Produce accurate P&L and KPI reporting, including variance analysis and commentary on key drivers
  • Provide detailed insight on revenue performance, margin trends and commercial drivers
  • Support customer, product or channel level analysis where required
  • Build, maintain and enhance financial models to support business planning
  • Work with large data sets to extract meaningful and actionable insight
  • Identify opportunities to improve analysis, reporting processes and data tools
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing and Operations to support performance management
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements in a dynamic environment

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance within a revenue orientated role (at least 3-4 years)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a results-oriented mindset
  • Experience working with large data sets and translating data into clear insight
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to build robust financial models
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, changing environment
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) advantageous
