The Role
We are seeking a progression driven Electrical Design Engineer, who is looking for an opportunity that will offer a natural progression into leadership. The Electrical Design Engineer will work collaboratively with mechanical design, controls, and commissioning to provide all electrical design work via e-Plan. The Electrical Design Engineer will:
- Design electrical wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams for bespoke machinery.
- Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Excel spreadsheets for handover to software and product engineering teams.
- Support the electrical build and wiring of machinery, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Calculate appropriate breaker sizes and electrical load requirements for low-power control systems.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Electrical Design Engineer role you will need:
- Experience of electrical design on any platform
- Experience of electrical wiring for complex machinery
- Desire to progress within your electrical design career
- Strong communication skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach
