We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Technology to provide stable, hands‑on leadership during a transitional period for a Charity.
You will lead a team of c.25 staff while supporting the organisation following a recent go‑live of a Dynamics‑based fundraising CRM. Alongside operational oversight, you will bring strong solution architecture expertise and conduct an early‑stage assessment of requirements for a new CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide steady leadership to a multidisciplinary technology team of c. 25 people
- Ensure continuity of service and delivery
- Support and optimise post‑go‑live activities for a Microsoft Dynamics fundraising CRM implementation
- Act as a senior technical authority, offering hands‑on input into solution architecture and design decisions
- Assess current systems, capabilities, and gaps, particularly in relation to CRM and data architecture
- Lead discovery work to define needs and technical options for a new CRM
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to align technology with organisational strategy
- Oversee third‑party suppliers and partners where relevant
- Ensure best practices in governance, risk management, and service delivery
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in an Interim Head of Technology xwzovoh / IT Leadership role
- Background in the charity sector (preferred) or wider public sector
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Experience with Oracle Service Cloud (desirable)
- Ability to lead and motivate teams through periods of change
- Experience conducting technical assessments and shaping early‑stage product or platform strategies
