Staff Nurse – Fairfield Emergency Village

Join our dynamic team as a Staff Nurse in our evolving Emergency Village incorporating the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre at Fairfield General Hospital.

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses with proven experience gained post NMC registration in both our Emergency Department and our Urgent Treatment Centre.

Our Emergency Department is a fast‑paced, high‑stakes clinical environment where urgent, unpredictable cases are assessed, stabilised, and treated by a skilled, multidisciplinary team providing immediate, life‑saving care.

Our Urgent Treatment Centre provides high quality patient‑centred care to patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses, offering a wide range of simple and complex presentations.

Qualifications & Professional Registration

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2)
  • Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent
  • Further postgraduate qualification in a related speciality

Knowledge, Training & Experience

  • Evidence of working within a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
  • Able to work effectively as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team as well as independently.
  • Able to use reflective practice to continuously improve the standard of patient care.
  • Previous experience of working within an Emergency Department.
  • ILS Certification preferred.
