A global Media & Entertainment group is seeking an Intercompany Finance Manager to join its high‑performing Finance Operations function, based in Manchester. This is a permanent role offering excellent exposure within a fast‑paced, transformation‑led environment.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead the Intercompany Accounting team – ensuring the accurate and timely recording, reconciliation, and reporting of transactions across multiple entities. The role requires a mix of strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership ability, and a passion for process improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small Intercompany Accounting team, driving high performance and collaboration.
  • Oversee all intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
  • Maintain robust controls and documentation across AR, AP, and GL accounts.
  • Resolve aged or disputed balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive process automation and continuous improvement within a large ERP environment.
  • Partner with wider Finance Operations and Transformation teams to deliver best‑in‑class processes and reporting.
  • Support audits, reviews, and ad hoc finance initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or experienced QBE with a strong RTR/Intercompany background.
  • Proven experience managing intercompany processes in a large, complex or multi‑entity business.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations, controls, and financial reporting.
  • Hands‑on ERP experience.
  • Confident leader with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Digitally minded, with an interest in automation and continuous improvement. xwzovoh
