Senior Pharmacist – Biologics and Homecare
We are looking for a Senior Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team and deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services and advice to specified clinical specialities. You will manage and develop the delivery of medicines to Basildon hospital patients through homecare services in accordance with current regulatory and national standards, and be part of a high‑quality pharmacy service for patients requiring biologics therapy.
Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services and advice to a specified clinical specialty(s).
- Deliver and develop the delivery of medicines to Basildon hospital patients through homecare services.
- Participate in general clinical, dispensary and pharmacy on‑call services.
- Carry out duties in accordance with departmental SOPs, current professional, clinical and legal guidelines, and best practice.
- Adhere to the principles of the NHS Constitution.

Person specification
Education & Qualification
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (GPhC)
- MPharm degree
- Clinical diploma or similar post‑graduate qualification
Experience
- Extensive relevant pharmacy experience including providing a clinical pharmacy service.
- Previous experience in homecare and biologics.
