This is not a conventional hire. Our client is Sundance — a 35‑year‑old deep‑tech electronics business based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire — is looking for a Commercial Director who will, over 12‑18 months, become its Managing Director.
The founder is ready to step back. He wants the right person to step forward and carry forward everything he has built.

The person we’re looking for
You know how to walk into a room full of engineers and earn their respect — not because you’re the smartest technologist there, but because you understand what they’re building and why it matters.
You’ve spent your career in B2B sales or business development in electronics, embedded systems, test & measurement, or a closely adjacent technical sector. You sell to engineers or alongside them. You’re good at what you do, respected by your customers — and quietly wondering whether you could run something yourself one day.
