Data Architect

Location: London

Duration: Hybrid – 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-wide data architectures and information models
• Develop taxonomies, ontologies, and semantic data structures
• Define metadata standards and governance frameworks
• Structure data for AI, reporting, analytics, and operational use
• Support Power BI data models, reporting structures, and data flows
• Improve enterprise data quality, visibility, and usability
• Support AI readiness and data transformation initiatives
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data structures
• Experience working in Private Equity, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Fast‑paced, transformation‑led environments.
• Experience supporting AI or machine learning initiatives
• Knowledge of semantic web or knowledge graph concepts
• Experience within enterprise modernisation or transformation programmes

Overview

Thebes Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to design and structure AI‑ready data environments across complex enterprise organisations. This is not a software engineering or coding role. The role focuses on improving how enterprise data is structured, governed, connected, and utilised across AI, analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
