About the Role

Finance Project Controller & Business Partner – a high-impact finance role at the heart of operational performance. The role supports the full Order to Remittance (OTR) process, ensuring strong financial control, process excellence and improved contract performance. The position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, adds value through collaboration and commercial insight, and is motivated by delivering operational and financial excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the end‑to‑end O2R process including order validation, billing and collections.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and revenue recognition in line with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage the CMR process compliantly to maximise positive P&L impact.
  • Partner with business units to streamline O2R processes and resolve issues.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, automation tools and reporting dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX/internal controls, audit requirements and local regulations.
  • Support transformation initiatives related to O2R process efficiency and digital enablement.
  • Provide insights and reporting to senior finance leadership on project performance, working capital, customer payment trends and operational KPIs.

Required Qualifications

  • Finance experience, preferably within a projects business.
  • Qualified (CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition (IFRS 15 or ASC 606), billing systems and AR controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling and data analysis tools (PowerBI, Tableau – a plus).
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management across commercial, legal and operational teams.
