Site Manager – Fire Protection

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in fire protection to oversee day‑to‑day operations across multiple active sites. You’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest compliance standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate fire‑protection installation teams across active projects.
- Ensure all works comply with UK fire safety regulations, RAMS, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections, snagging, and sign‑offs to maintain high installation standards.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage daily site records, progress reports, and workforce planning.
- Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and used efficiently.
- Motivate and guide installation teams to deliver safe, compliant work.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in fire protection (e.g., passive fire protection, fire stopping, fire doors, or sprinkler systems)
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- CSCS card
- Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations and construction site management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- FIRAS, IFC, BM TRADA, or similar third‑party accreditation
- Experience managing multiple sites
- Knowledge of digital reporting tools (e.g., FieldView, Procore)
