Senior / Principal / Associate Structural Engineer – Building Structures

Permanent – London – £58,000 – £70,000 + Annual Bonus

This nationwide Building Structures Engineering consultancy has recently established a London office and is now seeking a Principal / Associate level Structural Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities

• Act as the lead consultant on projects providing C&S representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team, ensuring that C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.
• Represent the company at internal and external meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desire to build on existing experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering design and mentor junior staff.
• Experienced in developing Structural/Civil Engineering designs for projects through various project stages autonomously; comfortable developing engineering concepts and communicating them to clients, architects and staff in meetings.
• Ability to apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures, and manage the preparation of such calculations by junior staff.
• Demonstrate ability to break down complex structures into individual components for element design and communicate this to colleagues.
