At Emtec Facility Services we’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our mobile team covering Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Emtec Facility Services delivers planned maintenance, reactive support and installation services across a wide range of client sites. We pride ourselves on building long‑term relationships with our customers and delivering a reliable, high‑quality service every day.
This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across maintenance, repairs and installations while supporting clients across your region.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across a variety of equipment
- Supporting installation works, including VRF systems
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Working closely with the wider team including Supervisors, Helpdesk and Contract Managers
- Building strong relationships with clients on site
- Preparing repair quotations where required
- Participating in the on‑call rota
What We Are Looking For
- City and Guilds NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning as a minimum.
- Previous experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of air conditioning units.
- Experience working with VRF Systems.
- Comfortable working at height, carrying out manual handling tasks and working in confined spaces.
- Full UK Driving licence
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with strong problem‑solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
