We are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a leading hedge fund looking to hire an Investment Analyst to focus on global convertibles. This is a strong opportunity for a candidate with a focus on convertible securities to become part of a high-performing, intellectually rigorous investment platform.
The role is centred on conducting fundamental and relative value analysis across global convertible markets, with exposure to opportunities spanning the EMEA, APAC and US. Working closely with other members of the investment team, the successful candidate will help to drive idea generation, portfolio construction, and ongoing risk assessment. The position requires a well-rounded understanding of credit, equity sensitivity, and capital structure dynamics, alongside an appreciation of liquidity and technical market factors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop investment ideas across the convertible universe through detailed fundamental, relative value and cross-capital structure analysis
- Support the evaluation of primary and secondary market opportunities across global convertibles (balanced, equity-like, busted etc)
- Contribute to broader investment discussions across related asset classes, including IG & HY credit, CDS, and equities
- Track issuer-specific developments and assess implications for credit quality, equity optionality, and positioning
- Assist in portfolio construction, including monitoring exposures and identifying risk concentrations
- Support transaction processes, including structuring considerations, allocation analysis, and post-investment review
- Engage with sell-side counterparties to gather market intelligence and maintain access to relevant opportunities
This opportunity offers exposure to a sophisticated investment strategy within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience analysing convertible securities or adjacent asset classes, excellent knowledge of convertible bond investment strategies (convertible arbitrage, capital structure, volatility, event-driven etc) strong fundamental and relative-value analysis capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively as part of a high-performing team.
