Job Description:

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer ( Milling Machining bias), you’ll need to possess excellent experience in CNC manufacturing Milling practices and processes including programming using Siemens NX CAD/CAM knowledge.

Experience with 5 axis machining centres DMG Mori Seiki, Okuma and Mazak I200 is highly desirable, along with experience of machining complex alloys such as titanium, inconel, aluminium grades.

DUTIES – Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Milling)

  • Authorisng and approving manufacturing processes and process specifications
  • Create and optimise Online and Offline 5 Axis milling programming for CNC Activities
  • Perform problem solving and root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
  • Provide technical, machining task planning and authorisation.
  • Advise and support daily shop‑floor management meetings.
  • Develop the ME function, identifying new technology to enhance productivity & quality.

BACKGROUND – Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Milling)

  • Manufacturing / Engineering Apprenticeship or above.
  • Previous Hands‑on Machining experience
  • Experience with multi axis milling machines
  • Confident with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems and Advanced capability in Siemens NX CAD/CAM programming (online and offline)

Qualifications

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing engineering (Or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in regulated manufacturing/process engineering environment
  • Proven CNC Programming expertise
  • Strong knowledge of DFM, DFSS, APQP, Lean methodologies and Zero Defects principles.
