Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor

Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.24 (equated wage; work 39 weeks per year but paid over 52 weeks).

Position Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Part Time

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 11.25, Monday to Friday 15:30‑17:45

Location: Kineton Primary School, Kineton Green Road, Solihull, West Midlands, England, B92 7EB

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to work with a range of Mitie clients to manage a cleaning team, including recruitment and development of staff and maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning.
• Ensure that cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following correct Health & Safety procedures, providing technical training as required.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness standards, manage material use and order stocks as necessary.
• Deal with any issues efficiently and professionally, referring to line manager where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory and cleaning experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work to a schedule on own initiative.
