Aerospace is looking for 2 Operations Finance Analysts for the UK region, one in Titchfield and one in Bedhampton, providing support to the FMC UK sites. This role performs a range of routine plant finance activities requiring a strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing finance. The position also drives short‑term improvement projects that enhance accuracy and efficiency, supporting the plant’s long‑term success.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in preparation of the monthly forecast and annual profit plan for the site
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, presentations and ad-hoc financial analysis to support the site
- Measure cycle count accuracy and work closely with the materials team to drive compliance with cycle count policies and goals.
- Lead annual physical inventory activities to ensure accuracy of results by establishing and maintaining proper inventory controls.
- Assist in accurately executing the annual standard cost roll
- Maintain the fixed asset register; support Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs), and track open capital projects to ensure timely execution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with finance strategy
- Support other needs as the role evolves with the business requirement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 3 years varied accounting/finance experience
Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting is a plus
- Demonstrates accuracy and discipline in financial reporting, cost tracking, and capital/project analysis while managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable navigating change, evolving processes, and shifting priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to motivate and help direct the team
