Job Description:

Role Overview

Maintain and repair heating systems in client properties. Ensure heating and hot water systems operate efficiently and safely, completing repairs in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region
  • Ensure high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards
  • Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work
  • Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements

The ideal candidate will be a self‑motivated professional with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You will work across a variety of environments and must be comfortable adapting to different settings and client needs.

Qualifications

  • Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. Minimum: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
  • Valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
  • Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
