Responsibilities

  • Build and refine technical pricing models using advanced statistical techniques to accurately quantify risk and optimise pricing structures.
  • Drive strategic pricing by formulating innovative solutions that align with long‑term business goals and market competitiveness.
  • Interpret complex data sets to ensure pricing remains accurate, robust and data‑driven.
  • Partner across functional teams to align pricing with broader objectives and act as a technical expert for stakeholders.
  • Monitor the success of implemented strategies, making real‑time improvements to meet targets.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to keep practices compliant and pioneering.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience using programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for complex data analysis.
  • Expertise in pricing software and practical experience with industry‑standard tools such as Earnix, Emblem, or Radar.
  • Analytical skills with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strategic thinker capable of developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges while maintaining profitability.
  • Effective communicator who translates complex pricing concepts into plain English for non‑technical teams.
  • Collaborative peer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys mentoring others through technical leadership.
