The Role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development to join our U.S.-based Growth team. This is a U.S. hybrid role, based in or near one of our U.S. hubs.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support priority new business pitches from RFI/RFP through final presentation, partnering closely with Client Leads, Growth Leaders, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Partner with executive leaders and client teams to identify, prioritize, and shape high‑value growth opportunities.
  • Translate client briefs into clear strategic frameworks and compelling pitch narratives aligned to Real Chemistry capabilities.
  • Coordinate teams across disciplines and markets to ensure cohesive, differentiated responses.
  • Manage pitch timelines, workflows, and deliverables across multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Support the development of pitch materials, including proposals, decks, and presentations.
  • Keep senior stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and resource needs throughout pursuits.
  • Drive post‑pitch debriefs and help capture learnings to improve future performance.
  • Contribute to tracking win rates, pitch outcomes, and performance trends.
  • Champion consistency, best practices, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance across diverse teams and geographies.

What You Should Have

  • 8‑10+ years of experience in an advertising, communications, or integrated marketing agency environment.
  • Healthcare industry experience across pharmaceutical, biotech, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting successful new business pitches.
  • Strong strategic thinking and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex client needs into compelling narratives.
  • Solid understanding of integrated marketing, communications, medical, and activation disciplines.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership to advance enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working across disciplines.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure while managing multiple high‑stakes priorities.
  • Comfort working in hybrid teams across locations and functions.
  • Familiarity with new business tracking, reporting, or performance tools.

Pay Range: $130,000‑$145,000
