Container logistics Manager (Mandarin Speaker, 27k-32k, Exporter, Amersham HP7)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Container Logistics Manager role for an export company based in Amersham. Our client is a leading meat and poultry exporter from Europe and North America, with a primary focus on exporting to Asia and Africa.

The role requires a hardworking, diligent professional with a keen eye for detail to oversee container logistics preparation, administration, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee container logistics preparation and administration.• Ensure data integrity in reporting and clearly communicate details to clients and colleagues.• Negotiate logistics prices and secure the best transportation quotes in different currencies.• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Good proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, arithmetic, etc.) and strong numeracy skills.
• Ability to convert LB to KG and understand currency exchange rates.
• At least two years of experience in reefer shipment logistics.
• Experience negotiating transportation quotes in different currencies.
• Excellent business email writing skills and full fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills, confidence in approaching people, and professional presentation.
• Ability to balance priorities, multitask, and manage workflow to completion.
• Proficiency in a second language, especially Mandarin, is highly regarded but not required.
• Willingness to actively seek employment in the United Kingdom.
