Job
Hours: 30 hours per week.
Pro rata salary: £32,400 per year (£40,500 FTE).
Location: Colchester.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, train, and role model up to 5 Employment Specialists in front‑line support for people with Serious Mental Illness.
- Manage a caseload of up to 10 clients with mental health support needs to secure sustainable paid employment.
- Provide supervision, training, caseload management and role modelling of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach.
- Develop and manage relationships with the Essex University Partnership Trust (EPUT) clinical teams to collaborate on service delivery.
- Build relationships with local employers to negotiate job opportunities that match each individual’s strengths, needs, and preferences.
- Deliver high‑quality service that meets fidelity standards and demonstrates positive outcomes for service users.
Qualifications
- Level 4 Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with adults with mental health needs.
- Experience in partnership development and working with external partners.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Resilient, compassionate, motivated self‑starter.
