Residential Conveyancing Lawyer
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- IT proficiency, including experience using case management systems and legal software.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish.
- Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity, re‑mortgages and lease extensions.
- Conducting property searches and title investigations.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and procedures.
