Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of HR – Manufacturing & Logistics to join Harvey & Brockless, part of The Compleat Food Group (TCFG). This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape and deliver a high-impact people strategy across a multi-site manufacturing and logistics operation of c.400 colleagues in the UK, with oversight of our Dubai operation. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, leading transformation, and embedding a high-performing, inclusive culture-whilst supporting the ongoing integration into TCFG.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and deliver a people strategy aligned to business goals
  • Drive workforce planning, capability, and cultural alignment
  • Contribute to wider manufacturing HR and group initiatives

Commercial Impact

  • Influence key metrics: labour cost, absence, turnover, productivity
  • Optimize workforce structures and resourcing models
  • Embed people thinking into commercial decisions

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior manufacturing & logistics leaders
  • Provide challenge, insight, and practical solutions
  • Lead organisational design and workforce planning

HR Operations

  • Oversee HR delivery across multiple sites
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and employee experience
  • Partner with Shared Services and Centres of Excellence

Employee Relations & Risk

  • Lead on complex, high-risk ER matters
  • Drive a proactive ER strategy to reduce risk and improve performance
  • Ensure legally compliant, consistent practices

Change & Transformation

  • Lead the people agenda across transformation and integration
  • Deliver HR elements of TCFG integration
  • Support engagement and minimise disruption

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team
  • Drive engagement, retention, and wellbeing
  • Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture

Qualifications

  • Proven experience at Head of HR or Senior HR Business Partner level
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver measurable results
  • Deep expertise in employee relations and employment law
  • Experience leading change, transformation, and integration programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance improvement
  • Experience leading and developing HR teams
