Global Pricing Strategy Lead & UK Market Access – London-Based – Hybrid – Pharmanovia

About the Role

Global Pricing Strategy Lead & UK Market Access to drive pricing, reimbursement and market access strategy for Pharmanovia’s speciality portfolio within the UK secondary care. This role is critical in ensuring that patients gain timely and sustainable access to our medicines while supporting the company’s commercial objectives. Reporting to the VP of Market Access, you will lead engagement with national, regional and governmental stakeholders and work cross-functionally to develop compelling value propositions and ensure successful Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and reimbursement outcomes.

Responsibilities

Market Access Strategy & Execution

  • Execute the UK market access strategy for Pharmanovia products across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  • Develop and implement pricing and reimbursement strategies to support product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality pricing submissions and reimbursement dossiers to the relevant authorities and HTA bodies.

HTA, Pricing & Reimbursement Leadership

  • Lead and manage national HTA submissions, including day-to-day project management and coordination.
  • Support pricing strategy development, including value demonstration and budget impact considerations
  • Monitor and interpret changes in the UK pricing and reimbursement landscape and adapt strategies accordingly.

Stakeholder Engagement & NHS Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government, NHS, payer and policy stakeholders at national and regional levels.
  • Develop and deliver innovative partnership approaches with the NHS and integrated care systems to improve patient access.s
  • Represent Pharmanovia in strategic discussions with key external stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global and local teams across Medical, Commercial, Regulatory, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure aligned access strategies.
  • Support the development of evidence-generation plans, value propositions, and stakeholder messaging tailored to different audiences.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all market access activities are conducted in line with Pharmanovia policies, UK legislation and industry compliance standards.
  • Promote a collaborative, compliant work culture aligned with company values and business conduct requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the CRO or Pharmaceutical market access within the UK, ideally focused on secondary care.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK healthcare system, including NHS structures, integrated care systems (ICSs) and devolved nation pathways
  • Proven track record of securing pricing and reimbursement for pharmaceutical products in the UK
  • Experience preparing or supporting HTA submissions and reimbursement dossiers

Required Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance patient access with business objectives
  • An analytical and data-driven approach to decision making
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation and across multiple functions
  • Confident working autonomously while managing multiple priorities
  • In-depth understanding of payers and their value drivers in major markets, as well as trends in Pricing & Reimbursement across the UK. A strong level of understanding in healthcare and pharma environments.
  • Experience with clinical data gap analysis and GVD development is an advantage. As well as Health Economic insight and experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting or leading product launches in specialist areas such as oncology, rare diseases or hospital-based therapies
  • Experience at the national level in Market Access affairs (e.g., experience in negotiations with local health authorities, payers, hospital administrators, etc.)
  • Country knowledge of the pricing and reimbursement environment. Experience for reimbursement dossier submission and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of health economics, value dossiers, and clinical data gap analysis
  • Experience working within complex payer environments and managing stakeholder networks across national and regional levels
