Youll step into a role where creativity, storytelling and colleague experience come together. As our Internal Communications Executive, youll help shape how we connect, engage and inspire colleagues across Saga. From business updates and colleague campaigns to creative content and multimedia storytelling, youll play a key role in bringing our culture and strategy to life.
No two days will be the same in this fast-paced and varied role. Youll create compelling communications across multiple channels, turning important messages into engaging content that colleagues genuinely connect with. Whether its crafting impactful written communications, designing eye-catching visuals or producing creative video content, youll help ensure every colleague feels informed, valued and part of the Saga story.
We work in a hybrid way at Saga, both at home and in the office. The people team are typically in person in our Folkestone office twice a week, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a business.
Role Responsibility
As an Internal Communication Executive, you will be responsible for creating engaging internal communications content across a variety of channels including email, intranet, digital screens and external content for LinkedIn
Leading, developing and executing internal campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment
Designing visual content and assets to support internal campaigns and messaging
Producing simple and engaging video content, including filming and editing to enhance storytelling
Writing clear and concise copy tailored to different audiences and tones of voice
Supporting colleague events and engagement activities, both digital and in-person
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gather content ideas and support the development of our colleague experience
Delivery of our Colleague Voice Survey and supporting action plans
Managing our intranet platform and digital screens to ensure content is relevant and engaging
Ensuring all content aligns with the brand guidelines and standards
The Ideal Candidate
You will have proven experience working within Internal Communications alongside a passion for enhancing colleague engagement to drive strong business outcomes
Other skills desired would include:
Experience in graphic design and basic video production using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
Expertise in copywriting and editing, with the ability to simplify information into a clear language
Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
A collaborative working approach and confidence working with senior stakeholders
Flexible and adaptable
Positive attitude to work with a proactive approach
Courage to challenge and improve existing processes
