Job Description:

The Opportunity: A well-established business within the construction sector is looking to bring in an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the full HR function across the UK and Europe.

This is a hands-on, standalone role working closely with senior leadership, offering real influence over people strategy, culture, and processes. The Role: You’ll be responsible for overseeing all HR activities, supporting business growth while ensuring best practice and compliance across the board. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle – from sourcing through to onboarding
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Handling employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Overseeing performance management and appraisal processes
  • Identifying and coordinating training and development initiatives
  • Managing compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and systems
  • Ensuring compliance with employment law and regulations
  • Supporting senior leadership with workforce planning and organisational development

About You:

  • Proven experience in a HR Manager / Senior HR role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident handling employee relations and complex HR matters
  • Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised, proactive and commercially aware

Package & Details:

  • Discretionary bonus

  • Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
  • Flexibility required, including occasional out-of-hours availability
