Job Description:

£57k – £60k, salary depending on skills and experience. Permanent. 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid / Huntingdon – the role will require you to work in the office 1 day a week.

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in .NET to join our engineering team. You will be taking a leading role in building cloud‑native solutions using the latest versions of .NET. You will be involved across the whole software development lifecycle, be a driving force behind helping to define best practices, coding standards and mentoring other engineers on best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Build cloud‑native solutions using .NET 7, 8 or 9.
  • Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Define and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Mentor other engineers on coding quality and development practices.
  • Champion code quality through code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong C# experience working with .NET 7, 8 or 9.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Key Vaults and App Services.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including configuring CI/CD pipelines.
  • Championing code quality through code reviews.
  • Experience with Git version control systems.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
  • Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with React using TypeScript (TS) is a plus.
