Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of Kit and Equipment performance through the creation of advanced asset care and improvement programs.
- Provide specialist knowledge, technical expertise and insight to support new and current technologies employed at YV.
- Demonstratable commitment to people and food safety through actively managing own work and the work of others in line with legislative, company and working procedures.
- Lead in the development and delivery of reliability focused asset care for our kit and equipment.
Essential
- Apprenticeship or equivalent level of training in multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical & Electrical).
- Higher learning qualification in Engineering discipline
- Demonstratable application of engineering knowledge
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Developed knowledge and understanding of enhanced asset care
- Demonstratable capability in the application of advanced fault finding techniques
- Developed knowledge and application of RCM
- Understanding of OEE and the impact of engineering
- Ability to develop knowledge in self and others
Desirable
- Project management experience
- Experience of working with automated equipment
- Knowledge of best practice in asset care
