Ideal for a BA with hands‑on testing experience or a senior test analyst with a BA background. You’ll work across testing function, embedded with within various squads, collaboration with both BAU and a parallel project stream. You will have close interaction with automation/manual testers daily.

What you’ll do

  • Lead requirements elicitation, clarification and documentation for testable acceptance criteria.
  • Produce and maintain clear, structured test artefacts: test cases, scenarios, feature files, traceability.
  • Make recommendations, unblock decisions, ensure the team is ready for execution.
  • Partner with TAs and automation engineers to align manual and automated coverage.
  • Participate in reviews where requirements/test impacts are relevant.
  • Manage stakeholders, keeping scope, risk and dependencies visible.
  • Drive continuous improvement of BA/test processes in a multi-team setup.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 5–6+ years in BA with strong exposure to Quality Assurance.
  • Proven hybrid BA testing capability (either BA with strong testing, or tester with strong BA fundamentals).
  • Solid grasp of test design, Gherkin/feature files, and how automation frameworks consume requirements.
  • Comfort working around pull requests and collaborating with engineers (Git literacy a plus).
  • Experience across payments, accounts, or access control is highly advantageous.
  • Self-starter who brings structure when others are execution-focused; able to own outcomes.
  • Communication and documentation excellence: concise, unambiguous, and client-ready.

Soft skills

  • Confidence and ownership, with the gravitas to hold the line on test readiness.
  • Pragmatic, delivery-centred, and comfortable in a hybrid BA/test remit.
  • Collaborative, clear communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Why this role exists

Current testers are being pulled into documentation and readiness tasks that should sit with a BA. You’ll take back that space, enabling the test team to focus on execution and automation while you ensure clarity, traceability and readiness.
