Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A rare opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This site is equipped with advanced production technology, offering engineers the chance to work on cutting-edge machinery within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment including automated plant, robotics, PLC systems, blow moulding machines, and toner filling machinery.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out reactive, planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance using CMMS systemsMinimising downtime and improving overall equipment efficiencySupporting mechanical and electrical installations and site upgradesWorking on control systems, PLCs, and automated machineryIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S)Updating maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts via CMMSEnsuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and regulationsSharing knowledge and supporting team developmentSector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Electrical Bias EngineerLevel 3 xwzovoh or above engineering qualification
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Experience with injection moulding machineryRobotics and automation experienceBackground in high-volume manufacturing
