Responsibilities
- Maintain legal compliance
- Implement Company Health & Safety policies, processes and standards
- Ensure adherence to industry accreditations such as ISO and BRC
- Comply with applicable Food Safety Standards
- Deliver Health & Safety training and manage training requirements
- Control and oversee contractor processes
- Manage external security, catering and cleaning contractors, ensuring all legal requirements and safety cadences are met
- Support and manage the MHE fleet with central facilities
- Support all pre‑planned maintenance schedules
- Manage all waste streams for the site
- Ensure the “know your building folder” is trained and updated regularly
- Understand and apply local Health & Safety legislation
- Conduct and facilitate internal and external compliance audits
- Support, document and report on key facilities management programmes (legislative compliance, PPM & PMC)
- Coordinate with multiple departments and third‑party contractors
- Maintain competency with Microsoft Office Packages and exhibit outstanding organisational skills
Qualifications
- Exceptional knowledge and capability to achieve safe and legal commitments
- Experience ensuring accreditation standards such as ISO and BRC
- Track and report KPIs for the site management team
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal development
- Track KPIs for supplier and contractor performance, including Planned Preventative Maintenance activities
- Familiarity with legislation governing supplier maintenance and property infrastructure activities
- Monitor and manage PPM for the site
- Complete audits and health checks, identify risks, and engage Lead Managers to remediate them
