Role: Business Development ConsultantPay: £27,000 – £29,000 + CommissionLocation: Liverpool Office 2 days a week, 3 days remote working.Office Times: 07:00 – 16:30
HCRG Workforce Solutions is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Consultant to join our Recruitment Services Team. This role is ideal for someone with recruitment or sales experience who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping grow our presence across Community, Nursing and Private Healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, contact, and engage new clients across Community, Nursing and Private Healthcare settings.
- Build a strong pipeline of leads through targeted outreach, networking, and market research.
- Convert business opportunities into active clients through effective communication, presentations, and service demonstrations.
- Monitor regional trends and competitor activity to identify new growth areas and opportunities.
- Work in partnership with Recruitment Consultants to ensure clients receive high-quality candidates quickly and consistently.
- Liaise with internal departments (Compliance, Payroll, Accounts, IT) to ensure a seamless onboarding and delivery process.
- Provide clear communication and forecasting to support team planning and operational efficiency.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs related to outreach, new business wins, and client activity.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, documentation, and business development reporting.
- Support the wider team with market insight, upcoming contracts, and potential growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment, telesales, B2B sales, or account management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Goal-driven with a passion for winning new business.
- Confident, proactive, and resilient when working in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- IT literate, including MS Office and CRM systems.
